It was a much lower-key Christmas Eve this year, for reasons that I'm
not entirely clear on. As usual, we had Margaret and Bridget over for
dinner with the blood family; this time we had Mom's pizza before starting
in on the gifts, plus Danny graced us with his presents. If there were
noteworthy bits, they mostly involved Mom and Dad getting most of the
gifts, and the double wrapping on the box of dog biscuits for Bridge...

Wrapping Stuff I showed up at home early, to help wrap presents and to lend them my copy of A Christmas Story. It went over well. But this was the state of the living room...
Danny Well, Danny and Stuff (that needs to be capitalized).
Sphinx Joel Watching over us, with too much flash in the background.
Sphinx Joel, II I really do like this shot. He looks properly regal.

Loot This is the pile of gifts. Notice that I have the big scary thing over in the upper right corner.
Bridget Arrives Doesn't she look like an excited dog?
Table Shark This turned out well...well, less so for the greasy food.
Bridget Attacks! Lots of shots of this to come.

Danny and Dog He really liked the dog that Margaret got him.
5 Kilos Nacho Cheese I got this from Ray, who got it from his Mom for reaosns unknown. Danny knows what he's doing with it, but I probably shouldn't put that up on here...
Box'o'Yams Danny's so lucky!
Bubble Monkey This was written in intentionally broken Engrish. Dad got it from Emily, apparently.
