Apple Taste-Testing Lab 2005 - Betsy
One of the students from my lab, that has made it a point of coming every year for a while now.

Once again, I was able to attend my Dad's apple taste-testing lab on the south side of campus this year. It again took place in Mumford Hall, and was attended by a few hundred students; there were 35 or so varieties of apple out this year (a new record!), and as always everybody had an excellent time.

Some background: this was the fourth of these Labs I've taken pictures of (2004, 2003, 2002); but there have been many more than that. The idea behind it is to show students two things: a) there are many varieties of apple in the world, and b) some are (much) better than others. It always seems to do a good job of it...
