Jeanne's House, Nov 2003

The highlights of this trip to Aunt Jeanne's last place were seeing that Matt was now taller than me, and playing with new puppy. Oh, and Jeanne's mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving.

Images
Jungle Jim's bench
Their first real innovation: a bench!
New Jungle Jim's Map
It's bigger than the last time we came, and it'll be bigger again next month... Scary stuff.
New JJ outside bits
I wasn't able to take any more shots than this, because the employees griped at me when I tried. I'll see if I can track down my brother's shots of the Rattlesnake meat sometime.
Watching the puppy outside
I just like taking pictures of people when they're not prepared
Weiner Bun
This is the new dog.
Jeanne and Weiner Bun
Some call the thing Toby. Fools, I say!
Weiner Bun Poses
He's more-or-less a cross between a Labrador and a Daschund.
Squirming Puppy
He's also just four months old.
Do Not Destroy
I never get to destroy merchandise!
Danny Investigates Weiner Bun
...or takes over as Jeanne takes a nap. Something like that.
Lauren
She wasn't quite sleeping yet.
Rachel
I had to get some decent shots of the kids.
Rachel, II
The mirror screwed this shot up.
Emma
I'm still surprised they cooperated for it.
Greg
There are few good shots of Greg, just like Missy. Oh well.
Watching Movies
Greg, Dad, and Lauren all sit down with me to watch The Chateau. I fell asleep half-way or so. It wasn't very good.
Mom Watching Movies
Mom doesn't like movies at the best of times. She left before I fell asleep...
Weiner Bun and the Sleeping Bag
He's destroying my sleeping bag! Aaah!
Matt
Matt doesn't like pictures as much, apparently.
Weiner Bun steals the covers
Aah, stereotypical puppy pictures.
Waiting to go out
Tigger, the cat, is probably just out the door.
Christmas Cards
Danny, Greg, Emma, and Dad apparently make a good team.
Working Danny
He needs to work with his hands more often.
Thanksgiving Organization
I just stayed out of the way; this is one of those "impartial observer" journalist things.
Thanksgiving, II
...well, minus the fact that I ate.
Digging In
At least I waited until they got their food.
Digging In, II
Fine, that last comment was a lie. I didn't wait, I already had my food.
Sleeping Tim
The turkey made me tired, and I couldn't leave the kitchen. So I curled up on the kitchen floor.
Sleeping Tim, II
I should really hide my camera when I take naps.
Playing with Cameras
Well, the kids were playing. The adults were tired. It happens.
Rachel and the dog
She's got a better smile than I ever will.
