Once again, System Administrator Appreciation Day occured on the last Friday of July. This was a low-key year, but once again I was given the go-ahead to pick up a couple of cakes and make a celebration out of it. I still wish that the Beckman sysadmins had been willing to come as well, but you take what you can get.
