This year's memorial-day weekend was the 24th Annual White Family Memorial Day party, which I should really stop calling MelFest since it seems to annoy Mel so much. It was my sixth year of attendance, by my count; at this point, I'm officially a regular! It was more fun than usual, too, since everybody was in a good mood, there was little rain, and the pig was extra-spicy. It was also one of the last major events with Ray and Mel before they moved to Seattle, which may have affected things a bit...
