2003 In Review

Most of the good shots I took in 2003 were based in some way around parties. 2003 was a good year for partying, I guess.

Images
Belle the Trapper
And Seal had a little tophat, too! From Sean's Halloween Party.
I Caught Caitte's Bouquet!
I'm still proud that she let me participate. It was a great wedding, too...
The Bucket Game
Sticking your head in a bucket of water is, in fact, what the Bucket Game is all about! This is from another Disco Show.
Caitte and Randall
My little sister posed for me a little bit at her wedding, and the main photographer didn't get too upset.
Caitte and Randall, II
She looked so happy... I'm still proud that I could be there with her at her wedding.
Caitte's Bridesmaids
I was one of 'em, in theory. But this swapped in the groomswoman so they could get a shot with the same outfit... (From the wedding shots.)
Caitte and Jane
With the headbands, the sisters look alike! Yeah. (Again, from the wedding pictures.
Caitte the Jester
She enoyed the Renaissance Faire...
Caitte and Randall
This was actually when I met Randall, and I definitely did approve. This was at a Renaissance Faire down in Texas...
Caitte & Randall's Ceremony
Their ceremony was cute and sweet and wonderful, and I got plenty of shots afterwards...
Danny the Furby
Okay, so this picture had nothing to do with the gallery I put it in, but it's still an amusing shot.
Danny's Box-O-Yams
I think there was something else in it - yams aren't a good Christmas Present - but it was a good pose anyway.
DB and Raché
One of a series of really good pictures I got from Caitte's Reception.
Duct Tape Bra
An amusing creation for Mardi Gras, this is the most popular image on my web site. I wonder why?
Erin's Flower Girl
...and ringbearer, of course. I wish I'd gotten some better shots from Erin and Jeff's wedding, but really, this was the cutest...
Eva and Aragorn
What a wonderful item our cardboard Aragorn is! I like how this shot makes it look almost like Eva is the fake one. (From the Eva Gang Christmas Party).
Eva and Sean
Another of my wonderful series of pictures from Caitte's Wedding.
Eva Singing
She wasn't singing anything *good*, but she looked good doing it. Again, from Caitte's Wedding.
<FISH>< House
Okay, it's made out of goldfish. But it's still cool, and I was glad they returned this shape in time for Equi-Party.
Gandalf Gets Adopted
I tried to call him Quarter Pounder for a while, but it didn't take. Sarah sure was happy to have her own cat!
Gila's Going-Away Party
I miss my old boss. She was stressful, but good at what she did... And she threw good parties.
Gila's Housewarming Party
...or at least this is when we got to see her Chicago Apartment...
Grape Guy
Am amusing costume from Quad Day 2003.
Sleepy Harry Potter Kids
The cutest shot my camera has yet taken, from the Harry Potter 5 Release Party.
Inside the <FISH><
The first drawing I made for Sean's wall is also the best. I took the shot of it at his 2003 Barbeque.
J-Lau
My cousin Lauren, heading to a costume party. She looked pretty funny. From another trip to Ohio.
Jeanne and James
I'm still excited that I'm going to be in their wedding in August. (This was from Caitte's.)
Jon de Guzman
Looking freaked out and surrounded by cute girls. Silly Jon! (From our July 4th festivities.)
Justin and Betsy
This shot from Justin's Defense Party turned out insanely well, and was later used in the commemorative book for his going away party.
Melih with Balloons
Melih has always enjoyed helping out with Engineering Open House.
Mel and Jacob
Smiling and laughing on the stairs at my New Year's Party, as she had begun to be drunk enough to discuss how she was about to propose to Ray...
Punch
I made alcoholic punch? What's happening to this world? Oh, yeah, it was for others' parties...
Relaxing Tim
It was nice to just watch a party happen around me for once...
Large Rhino
Taking a camera to the Zoo was my then-high-point of my photographer career...
Playing Settlers
I guess our obsession with this game started in 2002. It's still fun. This was from one of Mel's parties.
Hungry Grad Student
I think that every research group needs at least one skeleton to keep things interesting.
Tim in Texas
It's kindof a smile! Look! ...okay, fine, I didn't get many really good shots of me until the next year, when Beth started taking them. At least Caitte tried...
Tim-in-a-Tux
I looked pretty spiffy for Caitte's Wedding, though I did miss my beard.
Toly the Enforcer
He certainly looks the part, yes? (From this gallery.)
Valerie the Geisha
The hair dye didn't come out for well over a year. Poor Val. It was still fun helping to dress her up like this for a Halloween Party...
Vered and Stuart
I always seem to get a lot of group shots of these two. This was from our New Year's Party
Dead Watermelon
What's more appropriate for a Halloween Party? Oh, wait. It wasn't Halloween.
Weiner Bun
He's a cute dog, if insanely dumb. And this is the cutest shot I have of him, from this gallery.
Zoo Geometry
I really hadn't been aware that my camera could take shots this good. From my Texas Zoo Trip.
